Carmichael Lynch
A Minnesota advertising agency that has donated office and technology support to Art Buddies for 27 years. Over the years, a number of Carmichael Lynch employees have volunteered as Art Buddies.

Knock Inc.
KNOCK, inc is a committed partner to Art Buddies, with three Executive Board members and countless mentors serving Art Buddies operation and programming.

KNOCK is a full-experience creative agency driven to cultivate love and loyalty for brands. The women/minority-owned KNOCK, inc. office promotes kinship and fearless collaboration from the top down and bottom up throughout our full-experience approach.While supporting non-profit partners and advocacy groups that make the world a better place, we balance the good we do with the good times we have doing it.

AIGA, the professional association for design
The largest and oldest professional membership organization for design, with 67 chapters and over 22,000 members nationwide. Many AIGA Minnesota members have volunteered for Art Buddies.

American Advertising Federation (Ad Fed)
A national trade association representing 50,000 advertising professionals and connecting the industry through a network of local clubs. The Advertising Federation of Minnesota has supported Art Buddies for years.

American Institute of Architects (AIA)
A national nonprofit association for architects. A number of AIA Minnesota members have volunteered for Art Buddies.

American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
The oldest and largest professional association for interior designers, with 40,000 members nationwide, and 48 local chapters. A number of ASID Minnesota members have volunteered for Art Buddies.

Communication Arts
The leading trade journal for visual communications and the largest design magazine in the world. Communication Arts showcases the top work in advertising and design, and was a major funder of Art Buddies for twenty years.

Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota
A nonprofit organization which provides support to mentors and mentoring programs in the state of Minnesota. MPM is dedicated to connecting youth with quality mentoring experiences, and has helped Art Buddies since its beginning.

Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA)
A nonprofit professional organization working to elevate the quality of interactive marketing in Minnesota and around the country. MIMA hosts events that bring the interactive community together. A number of MIMA members have volunteered for Art Buddies.

Minnesota State Arts Board
Arts and culture are central to Minnesota's educational system and lifelong learning opportunities. The arts develop creative minds that maximize new opportunities and find solutions to life's challenges.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.


Metropolitan Regional Arts Council
MRAC improves arts access for communities in the seven county Twin Cities Metropolitan area through support to artists and organizations.

School Partners

Bancroft Elementary School
Bancroft Elementary provides IB PYP programming for K-5 students with a focus on respect for self, community, and the world. Art Buddies Partner since 2011.

Barack & Michelle Obama Elementary School
Obama Elementary is a family-friendly place that works closely with parents to ensure the success of all K-5 scholars to become leaders in their community through core subjects along with fun and engaging activities. Art Buddies partner since 2018.

Lucy Craft Laney Community School
The Lucy Laney community shows value for our children and their quality of life by modeling commitment through holding themselves to high standards; cooperation through family and community partnerships; respect through a focus on culturally relevant teaching; compassion through intentional child development practices; and, hope through an unwavering belief in our children's lifelong successes. Art Buddies partner since 2022.

Minneapolis Community Education (MCE)
Our long-time partner in supporting our After-School programs. MCE provides the space, coordination, and transportation that makes Art Buddies possible in Minneapolis Public Schools. Art Buddies Partner since 1996.

Whittier International Elementary School
Whittier provides IB PYP programming with a rich arts focus for K-5 students to become inquirers, critical thinkers, and communicators. Art Buddies partner since 1997.

Loring Community School
At Loring Community School in North Minneapolis, each individual child is treated as an important member of the school and classroom community. Students are held to high standards and expectations which foster growth both personally and academically. Art Buddies partner since 2019.

Pratt Community School
Pratt Community School is a Pre-K through 5 school, supported by a strong international community due in large part to our close proximity to the University of Minnesota. Art Buddies partner since 2020.
